Bolnuevo is a small Spanish village, near Mazarron in the region of Murcia, Spain, with a few shops and bars, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, restaurants etc., for your every day needs. The coastal areas of Mazarron, Costa Calida, boasts some of the finest beaches in Spain, some of which, will be so peaceful and quiet as very often they can be deserted. Approximately 3.2 km's away is Puerto de Mazarron. which is a typical Spanish fishing port, where the port now boasts a newly built 500 berth marina, accommodating vessels of all sizes.

Alicante airport is 120 km's to the North (approximately 1½ hour's drive) and San Javier (Murcia airport) is situated approximately 65 km's away (1 hour's drive). Airport transfers can be arranged if required although for getting around it is recommended that you hire a car which are available at either airport.

The towns of Murcia, Cartagena, Totana and Lorca, are within an hour's drive of Mazarron. The shopping facilities in Cartagena and Murcia are excellent. The Port of Mazarron and Bolnuevo have great places to shop, from local Spanish, to Chic designer boutiques. There is a daily market for fresh fruit, meat and vegetables alongside the fish market in both the Port of Mazarron and Mazarron town itself.

Puerto de Mazarron, is a very busy Spanish resort during the summer months and fairly quiet during the rest of the year making it ideal for that "quiet get away from it all" style holiday favoured by many. There are several bars and restaurants together with a good selection of shops including a vegetable and fish market. It is still relatively unspoilt and is not for anybody looking for a sophisticated resort. The demands of tourism have meant some changes to Mazarron, but fortunately these are restricted to providing extra facilities (banks, shops, restaurants, etc.) apart from the obvious swimming, go karting and tennis, other amenities include sailing, scuba-diving and there are several golf courses within 10 min's easy driving distance.
